Who started CrossFit Games?
In 2007, the inaugural CrossFit Games took place in Aromas, California, on a small ranch owned by the family of Games director Dave Castro. Around 70 athletes and 150 spectators turned up for the first Games. For the first two years of competition, participation was open to anyone who made it to Aromas.
