Considering the intensity level of CrossFit, and as with any training or activity, the body needs sufficient rest to recovery and rebuild. The recommended schedule for a CrossFit athlete is 3 days ON and 1 day OFF to ensure an athlete is getting enough rest.
How often should I do CrossFit workouts?
“How often should I do CrossFit workouts?” is actually a question we get pretty often. If you are just starting we recommend 3 workouts a week with a one day rest in between. That is how we program our on-ramp package as well.
