How does EMOM work?
An acronym for “every minute on the minute,” EMOM workouts challenge you to complete an exercise for a certain number of reps in less than 60 seconds. The remaining time within the minute serves as your recovery. The recovery time is crucial and you shouldn’t skip it.
What is the purpose of EMOM?
EMOM workouts use the promise of sweet, sweet rest to motivate you to push harder. The quicker you work through each set of reps in an EMOM workout, the more time you have to rest before the next move. For many people, more recovery time is great motivation to push harder and work out more intensely.
